Explore Montmartre

With its pittoresque charm and centuries old paved streets, Montmartre is true haven within the bustling Parisian metropolis. Perched on a hilltop, it offers a stunning view of the city below.

It is a real pleasure to walk about and discover the village of Montmartre, home to the last surviving Parisian vineyard, authentic Parisian restaurants and meeting point for the city’s artists.

The unique and festive atmosphere here goes back to the early 1900 during the Belle Epoque. Many influential artists lived or painted here including Picasso, Van Gogh, Dalí, Modigliani, Monet, Mondrian and Lautrec.

Inaugurated in 1900, the emblematic Montmartre Funicular will take you down to Paris in 1min. You can also choose to take the beautiful walk down the Sacré Cœur steps and gardens where mimes, singers, and musicians often perform.
